We are delighted to welcome both First Claim and Second Claim members. Under Welsh Athletics and UK Athletics guidelines, runners are able to be members of as many Clubs as they wish. Your First Claim Club will be where your Welsh/UK Athletics affiliation is held, and where you pay your affiliation fee.

As a Second Claim member of Porthcawl Runners, you are a fully paid-up member of the Club and enjoy all the benefits of full membership. Our Second Claim membership rate is reduced by the amount of the Welsh/UK affiliation fee that you have already paid at your First Claim Club.

From 1st April 2024 annual First Claim Club membership will be £55 per Member, and additional family Members, living in the same household, pay a reduced rate of £45

Second Claim membership is £34 (if you are already a member of another Welsh Athletics affiliated Club)

Your Club membership gives the following benefits:

– Access to qualified coaches at training sessions twice a week
– Welsh Athletics affiliation, including insurance and discounted race entries (affiliation linked to First Claim Club)
– Membership of Porthcawl Rugby Club
